Damotech, the first and largest provider of rack repair and safety solutions in North America, today announced at ProMat, Chicago, the launch of a new division dedicated to Engineering Services.

UPDATED (January 29, 2019): Racknowledge and Damotech have combined under Damotech to offer and fully integrated rack safety solutions to its customers. Racknowledge's online software, Watson, is now called the Damotech Platform.

Born out of an increasing demand for higher warehouse safety standards, Racknowledge offers expert engineering services focused solely on industrial racking systems and their safety. “For over 20 years, our team has been exposed to untold numbers of issues involving racking systems and leveraging all that expertise gives Racknowledge its edge” said Eric Naaman, co-president of Damotech. “We provide a highly customized service with unrivaled engineering expertise, at competitive rates…”

“Our clients are companies that take warehouse safety seriously and want to ensure that their racking systems meet and exceed industry standards” added Racknowledge’s Chief Engineer, Charles Carbonneau.

Through a thorough inspection process, Racknowledge offers an actionable overview of the general condition of your racking systems, a snapshot of your racks at a specific point in time. This reporting, based on rigorous engineering analysis, allows the client to take corrective actions to bring his racking systems back to conformity.

The Racknowledge team also introduced its new reliable rack inspection app, Watson, which will run on the iPad platform. This intuitive tool was designed in-house to simplify the process of capturing and reporting deficiencies in the warehouse environment. It allows the user to record location data, take pictures, flag damaged components and label priority levels. Then, easily generate reports and access a dashboard with real time statistics about his racking systems.

These services are available immediately throughout North America.
