How to reset / change password on the Damotech Platform?

This article is a step-by-step guide on how to reset your password for the Damotech Platform.

Warning
Changing the password should be done for security reasons only.
If you are also using the mobile application, we strongly recommend that you synchronize before changing your password.
  • If you change the Email in the User Profile (mobile application), any unsynchronized issue, upright or inspection will be lost.
  • Once the password is changed on the Web platform, remember to change it in the mobile application as well. See Reset password: change your password in the mobile application article.

Forgotten or change your password.

  1. Access the Web platform:
    1. https://platform.damotech.com
    2. See Compatibility article to learn more about supported browsers and operating systems.
  2. Click on'Need help signing in?' and then on 'Forgot Password'.
  3. Enter your email address and click on 'Reset via Email'.
    1. A link allowing you to reset your password will be sent to you by email.
  4. Open your Inbox, select the message from our 'Damotech Platform Administrator' and click on the 'Reset Password' link.
    1. The link is valid for a limited time only.
    2. If you don't receive the email, make sure it's not blocked by your firewall or check-in your Junk Email directory.
      1. The email is going to come from no-reply@damotech.com.
  5. The link will redirect you to the Web.
    1. Answer Forgotten Password Challenge.

    2. Enter your new password and then click on 'Reset Password'.

  6. You will be redirected to the Damotech Dashboard.
    1. Click on the 'Damotech Platform' link to access Damotech Platform using your new password.
